Travel: Saigon, Vietnam

Bonnie and I, with Jeff and Tomo, visited the Nalins in southern Vietnam near the end of May 2005. This photo shows young Tom at a concealed entrance to the Vietcong tunnels from the war. We enjoyed staying at their house and had great food.

Travel: Climbing Mt Kinabalu

Lolli and I climbed Mt Kinabalu in Sabah on 13 May 2005. Low's Peak at 4095m is the highest point in South East Asia. The granite landscape at the top of this mountain is austere, and the views to the green plains below spectacular. I reached the summit just after 4.30am and watched the sunrise at 6am. A great trip.
