February winter holiday in France

There's my Mum climbing up scrappy rock with me to ski the Colouir-en-S. Game girl! Behind is the glacier from the top of Les Arcs, altitude 3220m. Second photo is ski touring near St Foy, Tarentaise on a route called La Fogliette - perfect conditions - behind you can see Tignes resort in far distance and to right the huge glacier below the peak Dome de la Sache (c.3600m) which I climbed guided by Christian in 2005. Third picture is my cup! I came third in the Les Arcs derby race 21st February, telemark category. Derby Robert Blanc had 150+ competitors this year, starting with everyone running on foot followed by free choice of ski route down to the Comborciere chairlift. Bunfight! My average speed on telemark was >50kmh and there were some dramatic wipe-outs on the way down.
