Ice climbing in Singapore?
SAFRA Yishun club organize an ice climbing course at their climbing tower taught by excellent instructor, Nam Jin Kuak. Here's my attempt at being Superman :) The artificial surface works well with blunted ice axes and crampons. Fun day.

Summer weather in Helsinki
Relaxing June weekend with perfect sunny weather. This is Suomenlinna, the island fort south of Helsinki. A very pleasant and lazy afternoon enjoying the weather. Sufficient breeze for a paraglider to soar the cliffs, whilst a ferry departs for Stockholm. On sunday I spend five hours walking a 25km circuit north of downtown Helsinki through Finnish forest and fields (if you have Google earth on your computer see the route by opening this file).

Flying in to Helsinki
I travel a lot. Too much. Every month one intercontinental flight and usually one or two short haul flights; the novelty of flying quickly disappears. But such views refresh this weary traveller. Taken in May and June whilst flying between London and Finland.
